Trying To Make Money With a Micro-Niche Site - My First $ !!!!!
My First Micro-Niche Website Update:
Well if you have stopped by before you have read about my first attempt at a Micro-Niche website. Well I just had to jump on here tonight and celebrate a few milestones for my Micro-Niche.
Milestone 1 - I have gotten more than 30 hits today (previous record 5)
Milestone 2 - MONEY! I had 4 clicks today for a haul of $.78 cents! Now this may not seem like a lot, but many blogs take at least 90 days to generate a single cent. I feel that I am ahead of the game.
Milestone 3 - Indexed by Google, Alexa and Yahoo!. My current Alexa rank is 19,076,722. I know that is high but for about 3 weeks I think it is damn good.

Trying To Make Money With a Micro-Niche Site
I have taken some of my eHow earnings and I am trying to make money with a micro-niche site. I have taken the plunge and got a micro-niche domain name and I am trying the 30 day challange using market samurai. I did go about it a different way than they say because I am trying to do this without much money. I decided to register a micro-niche domain name and start a blog. I have read and seen several youtube videos about this and they can work.
So far here is what I did:
1. Found a good micro-niche website name
2. Registered the name through blogger for only $10/year (no hosting fees at all)
3. Set up google adsense so I can monitor the traffic and hopefully get some clicks
4. Started writing content
5. Posted some Amazon links about the content for readers to explore
Here are my objectives:
1. Create a website of my own.
2. Get listed in Google
3. Make $10 over the year to cover the cost of registration
4. Drive 50+ unique visitors a day to the site
5. Make enough money ($10) to register another domain
6. By this time next year have a nice passive income from some "set it and forget it" niche blogs.
Well I have done quite a bit of talking about how I am trying to make money with a micro-niche site please feel free to visit it and if you are interested in the topic please visit some of the sponsors of that page. So without further adieu here it is: www.toppsbaseballcardsets.com

eHow and Market Samurai Update
Well It has been a few weeks since I posted my articles with keywords specifically chosen and niches selected with Market Samurai. I am not really excited about the results so far, but it can take about 3 months for a article to become an earner. So far I am glad that I am only using the trial version of it and did not pay the $97 for Market Samurai, however my views on it may change depending how the articles do as far as rankings go. Well I will keep anyone who cares to know updated on the articles and give my final verdict on Market Samurai for eHow at the end of this month.

New Tactics for March 2010 Using Market Samurai For eHow
Well I haven't written on here in a while, but nobody comes here anyway so I guess no big deal. Anyway I have been watching some videos about the "30 Day Experiment". This is a way for you to learn about Micro-Niches and how to optimize your SEO (Search Engine Optimization). I had no intention of building a website but they push this product called Market Samurai, so I decided to give it a try.
Well I downloaded the evaluation version of Market Samurai and I spent plenty of time watching the videos and decided to use that to build keywords for my new eHow articles. Well I am going to track them and see how they do compared to the ones I did without the fancy software. Well the Three I am going to be watching are:
How to Buy Cheap Smokes
How to Make Crock Pot Roast Beef

How to Make Crock Pot Meatloaf How to Make Easy Crockpot Beef Stew How to Make Crock Pot Pot Roast Well according to Market Samurai they should all end up in the 1st page of the Google search but as of right now none of them are. I will update this more regularly so that anyone else who finds this blog may find it useful. I am also going to blog about what makes a successful ehow article. |

Making money on eHow writing articles
Well it has now been almost one month since I have been writing small "How to" articles on eHow. I have to say that I have learned so much about writing online. I do have to say that the most awesome thing in my opinion was that one of my first articles "How to find a Zhu Zhu Pet" has had almost 1,000 hits in it's first two weeks, but was also the #1 result for a while when you googled "find a zhu zhu pet". I have also found that other sites have been grabbing parts of my articles and displaying them on their site with a link back to my full article so they can read the whole thing. I also found that I am linked to in several places when I simply Googled: mattressman on ehow. Well it feels that my hard work is now searchable 24/7 by millions of people. Oh and I have made some money to. In my first 30 days I have now made $14.43! Now I never thought I would ever see a check from them, but this month I will get my first payout!!! I don't think I can retire on this money, but if I keep writing I do believe that I can bring home an extra $100+ every month as my article library grows. If you have not signed up for eHow and like to write, all I can say is sign up and have some fun.
